Oneness-Family High School of Washington: 4 fundamental principles

Tell me more

Where all students find their voice and aspire to reach their unique potential.

The Oneness-Family High School (OFHS) of Washington connects with an emerging paradigm in high school education that cultivates the innate creativity and passion of every student to empower them to become innovators, entrepreneurs and conscientious global citizens. Students who graduate from Montessori Schools are empowered to realize their potential and are ready to contribute to the betterment of the world in significant ways.

Our ultimate goal is to develop every student’s Unique Student Potential™ or USP.

In September of 2017 we will begin with our 9th and 10th grades – and we will have grades 9-12 by September 2020. Each year we will offer real world macro themes linked to specific course offerings.  Some examples of macro themes include: Sustainability, Global Connections, Democracy & Human Rights, and Innovation & Design. Within each macro theme, students will explore the work of national and international organizations that are dedicated to the respective areas of study.
